You are Enough

You are enough. You are a means and an end in your yourself. You don’t need the approval or need to know and care about what the other 8 billion people are thinking or doing. You’re here on a purpose to live and live well. You should find some meaning in your life and do something that’s worthy of your energy, time, and life itself. Don’t seek permission, validation, help, or opinions of the collective on what to do with your life. Your life is your business. Having said that, don't be all about business.

Build an attitude that no one’s going to help you or do anything for you. Live like an animal, free of any expectations and free yourself of disappointments. Fend for yourself and live wild in the jungle called the world. This might sound like a crude and selfish idea, however taking responsibility for yourself, and being selfish is the most selfless thing you can do for the world.

If everyone is selfish, automatically, we’re in a world of responsible individuals, who are working on themselves, not depending on others, and hence you have a beautiful world of individuals who are committed to improve their lives and the world around them. If you want to change the world, first take responsibility for yourself. First of all, you don't need to change it and second of all, you're not here to change the world. It's the most arrogant things to say and do, because everything is absolutely perfect as per the grand design. Know the significance of your insignificance.

First learn to save yourself, then you can think about saving the world, which does not need any saving in the first place. Just like the emergency warning in a flight announcement, of putting your oxygen mask first, and then helping others.

All change begins and ends with you.
