End of season 1, and it still feels like we're at the beginning of the show. The slowest burn ever. All characters (more or less) have been established and things are quite clear now. It's the collective vs the new army: Carol & Manousos. The season finale ends on a high note as all cards are off the table.
Zosia stole the season.
1 down, 12 to go, with 2 in favour of changing the world and reversing the joining. Now the question is what would the other 10 do? Can Carol protect herself from the joining? I'm guessing she and Manousos would plan an adventurous mission to recapture or destroy the frozen eggs from the labs of the hive mind. Also, I'm guessing, they will start convincing the other 10 to join them at the earliest, as Manousos (did you notice the SOS in his name? That's clever screenwriting) seems to have figured out a distant solution to reverse the joining and bring back the souls.
Observation! In the season finale, we see a lot of action and interaction with the translator app on Carol's phone. Did she already foresee this particular need and install an app with specific language packs that totally works offline? I did not get that part. It does not seem logical, based on how the events unfolded. (Probably she already had the app earlier, as she was a globally recognized Author and one who travelled around the world? May be)
Let's see what's in store for the world in season two, planned by the fantastic two.
